Peoria Luxury Bathroom Remodel

This Peoria luxury bathroom remodel by MoBA Construction showcases what’s possible when design and execution happen under one roof. Our team handled every aspect—from layout and materials to construction and finishing—with a singular focus on quality. The result is a spa-inspired retreat that blends calm, modern lines with rich natural textures.

Natural Materials, Tailored Details

At the heart of this remodel is a floating vanity, custom-built from cerused white oak. Its flat slab fronts and seamless miters give it a furniture-quality look. To elevate the design further, we fabricated a double-basin sink from ultra-high performance concrete (GFRC). Paired with matte black wall-mounted faucets, the entire piece feels sculptural, not just functional.

Seamless Tilework and Shower Design

Oversized 48×48 porcelain tiles cover the floor and walls, reducing grout lines and visual noise. The curbless walk-in shower features epoxy-treated corners, a flush linear drain, and a frameless glass partition—details that keep the space feeling open and refined. A recessed niche was aligned with the tile grid to maintain clean sightlines and balanced composition.

Lighting, Tub, and Finishing Touches

A freestanding soaking tub anchors the far end of the room, positioned beneath a horizontal window that frames garden views. Light pours in naturally during the day. At night, integrated LED strips, plaster-look walls, and trimless ceiling vents maintain the minimal aesthetic while offering full functionality.

Built by Hand, In-House

This Peoria luxury bathroom remodel was executed entirely by our in-house team—from the cabinetry and concrete work to the tile, paint, and lighting. We believe true luxury isn’t about flashy fixtures. It’s about precision, restraint, and care in every phase of the project. That mindset guides everything we build.

We had our kitchen remodeled including ceiling and soffit. They were great to work with from the design to the finishing touches. Jon never made me feel dumb when I asked a million questions and then repeated them. If ever I needed to contact him he would respond almost immediately or if not at least by the end of day. We always felt we were in close contact if we needed something. The team is extremely tidy! Never left a mess and they sealed the room off so well that there was not an over abundance of dust. We had extra request on the finishing touches that made our cabinets look more like furniture than cabinets stuck to a floor. Jon custom designed them and they are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Beginning in March of 2021 we have had Jon and his guys do a partial bathroom remodel which included ceramic tile tub surround, new plumbing and fixtures and a new floor, it turned out beautiful. He has also installed 3 new entry doors. He installed a laminate floor in our bedroom, and did a complete kitchen remodel which also turned out beautiful. Most recently they did a laundry room/bathroom remodel where the room was gutted to the studs. this project turned out better than we ever imagined because of his skills and ideas. The price is competitive, he is always on time, the communication is great and he has great ideas. But most of all the quality of his work is unmatched, he is so precise with his work you can tell he has great pride in his crafts. I hired them to renovate a dilapidated late 19th century investment property. Jon completely restored the home to its original grandeur. It is really unbelievable the transformation that occurred!. They restored much of the original woodwork, used reclaimed wood found in the attic to create one of a kind custom shelves and for a faux beam in the main living space. They restored the original floors and stair case like new! I learned so much from them throughout the project. Jon made 3d models to show me what different design ideas would look like throughout the process. I could go on for days about how good of a job Jon and his team did. If your thinking about doing a remodeling project you absolutely cannot go wrong with them. I really cannot recommend them enough!
