Interior design,
for your MoBA remodel.
A considered layout. Materials that belong together.
A space shaped around the way you live.
Designed around daily life
A space shaped
around you.
You may have a folder full of ideas or just a feeling that your home could work better. We want to hear what you love, what gets in your way and what you keep coming back to in the spaces you admire. You don’t need the right design vocabulary to explain it.
We use those conversations to explore the layout, storage, light and materials together. We’ll talk through why a choice might work for you, what it changes elsewhere in the room and how it affects the work involved.
Design is part of your MoBA remodel. You can be closely involved in the individual choices or give us more room to develop the ideas. Either way, we establish your priorities and budget together, then bring key layouts and selections back to you for feedback and approval.
From ideas to a developed design
See the decisions
take shape.
It can be hard to picture a room from a conversation alone. Drawings and design studies give us something to look at together, question and refine. These examples from Emerald Luxe show different parts of that work.

01 · Proposed floor plan
Understand the layout.
A plan lets us walk through the room together: where you enter, how you move around the fixtures and how much space each part needs. It helps us compare the possibilities before committing to a layout.

02 · MoBA design study
Explore the space.
A vanity study gives us a way to discuss storage, proportions and how the cabinetry sits in the room. You can respond to the idea while there is still room to refine it. Finishes and fixtures may change as the design develops.

03 · Completed MoBA work
Bring the materials together.
In the finished shower, you can see the relationship between the green tile, warm metal and surrounding surfaces. Material choices and the care taken in installing them both shape the result.

The people behind the work
Design and construction,
working together.
We’re Jon and Haley. We work through design ideas together, drawing on different training and experience.
Haley, our NCIDQ-certified interior designer, leads the design process and your work on layouts, materials, lighting and selections. She brings those choices together around your needs and the way you want your home to feel.
Jon contributes design expertise shaped by an architectural background and years of hands-on building. He helps shape the proportions, custom elements and relationships between materials, while thinking through how each idea can be made.
Our conversations move between the overall room and the individual details: what feels right, what is practical and where the work is worth the investment. Those perspectives inform the design as it develops.
Jon then leads construction on site with an understanding of the thinking behind the plans. Design judgment remains part of the work as the room takes shape, including when an existing condition calls for a detail to be worked through.

Your next step
Begin with a conversation.
We start with a phone consultation about your home, goals, budget and timing. From there, a paid site consultation and a project-specific design & preconstruction agreement define the next work.
We talk about budget as we develop the ideas, including where custom work or a layout change is worth the investment to you. Preliminary ranges become more specific as the scope and selections take shape, leading to a fixed-price construction contract with any remaining allowances identified.
After construction, we check in as you settle into the space and remain available for questions about the work, care and warranty coverage.

Before our phone consultation
Required: photos of your existing space. A few clear views of the room help us understand the layout and condition before we talk.
Helpful: inspiration images, drawings and plans. Share any you already have.
You can reach out without attachments and send them before the call. A paid site consultation is a separate next step.
